Recipient of the Sport BC Community Sport Hero Award for continuous volunteerism in DanceSport. Co-Founder, Honorary Life Member, former President and current Director of the Nanaimo Ballroom Dance Society. Co-Founder of the Island Fantasy Ball in the revival of the BC Closed Championships.
Assisted with the organization of major international and local competitions including World Championships sanctioned by the World DanceSport Federation, SnowBall Classic, Canadian National Championships and Island Fantasy Ball. Owner of Let’s ChaCha Academy.
Over 30 years experience in teaching and working with the dance industry. Created and taught successful dance programs for the Nanaimo Parks & Recreation.
